About Caedda Enright

harp .png

Originally from Petty Harbour, Newfoundland and Labrador, Caedda has always been musical. However, it was not until she was introduced to the harp that her passion for music soared. At age 12, she began learning the harp, quickly picking up traditional Irish folk tunes and playing at local gigs. At age 15, she completed her first wedding performance. Since then, Caedda has studied harp at the post-secondary level under Sharlene Wallace and played at numerous different venues. She has experience with weddings, private parties, ferries, distilleries, yoga retreats, restaurants, bars and more. She has played in multiple jazz trios and quartets and is currently the harpist for indie-rock band, Green Eyes Witch Hands. Caedda has taken the harp everywhere with her, challenging the audience's preconceived ideas of the instrument. She takes great inspiration from jazz harpists such as Alice Coltrane, Brandee Younger, and Dorothy Ashby. Aside from music, Caedda is an avid horseback rider and loves spending time with her horse, Freckles. Or, you can find her on a long drive with her Ford-Edge-Turned-Camper-Van.
